Executive Director

(Greater Toronto Area)
Salary – $130,000 to $150,000 – plus benefits

Mary Centre is a community-based organization that provides support services designed to enhance the quality of life of people with developmental disabilities and their families.

A generation ago, people who had a developmental disability rarely lived into their fifties. Today more are living into their seventies and even eighties. There is reason to celebrate! However, it also means that these people are outliving their parent(s) and siblings and/or caregivers. Moreover, they require more care as they age. Thus, older adults with a developmental disability are underserved and often marginalized.

Funded by the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) and Catholic Charities, Mary Centre was founded, by the Archdiocese of Toronto and parents, in 1989. It currently serves Toronto, Peel Region, and York Region. It welcomes people of all faiths, while reflecting Catholic values.
