Helmut has over 25 years of international recruitment and executive search experience working for hyper-growth start-ups, non-profit organizations and large corporations. Some of Helmut’s corporate experience includes overseeing strategy and managing teams as the Head of Recruitment or Director of Talent Acquisition for several corporations.

Helmut joined the crawfordconnect team in 2023.

Over the past 10 years Helmut established his own consulting practice providing service to a large number of organizations across different industries with a focus on executive search, recruitment strategy, mentoring, training and technology implementations. He has also supported and served as a board member for several non-profit organizations. Helmut’s formal education was achieved at Vienna Business University and the University of Ottawa.

Gillian joined crawfordconnect in 2023 as a Senior Search Consultant.

She brings over 10 years of executive search experience in the not-for-profit, health care, education and corporate sectors. Prior to joining crawfordconnect, Gillian worked several years in the not-for-profit sector.

She has a B.A. from Western University.

Ann joined crawfordconnect’s team in 2021. She brings an exceptional marketing background and has spent the last 10 years in executive search. In the not-for-profit sector, she focuses primarily on senior leadership roles in social services, associations, healthcare, and government agencies. Ann is known as an excellent communicator and listener and approaches her work with focus and attention to detail. She has an MBA from Western University.

Active in executive search for over 20 years, Susan has completed assignments across a variety of industries in North America. She has placed executives in a broad range of senior functions such as general management, finance, sales, marketing, and human resources for clients in both private and not-for-profit sectors.  

For each engagement, Susan is known for her professionalism, in-depth research capabilities, exceptional communication skills and astute ability to assess technical and personal credentials of potential candidates.  

Before joining crawfordconnect, Susan has served in leadership positions as Associate Director in executive search with Heidrick & Struggles; Research Associate with The Caldwell Partners and most recently, Senior Associate with US-based Kincannon & Reed.  

She holds a BA in Economics & Sociology from Western University. 

With over 15 years experience in Human Resources, Muneerah has designed, developed, and delivered HR systems and programs for a multitude of organizations.

Core projects include designing recruitment & selection systems, onboarding strategy, training and development programs and performance management systems.

With considerable experience in talent acquisition and retention for corporate and not for profit sectors, Muneerah has been involved with full cycle recruitment for:

Muneerah has an MBA from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Muneerah joined crawfordconnect in 2022 as a Senior Search Consultant.

As Senior Search consultant with crawfordconnect since 2014. Liz brings over 20 years as an experienced executive search researcher who specializes in the public and not-for-profit sectors.  She also provides counsel on issues related to talent management. She has been involved in executive search and recruitment in healthcare, non-profit and the corporate sector. She has worked previously for large executive search firms as well as running her own executive search research practice. She is an expert in candidate development and fit analysis and has developed a comprehensive interviewing process that assists in aligning client needs with candidate goals.

Liz has conducted searches for roles including CEO, Executive Director, COO, Vice President, and Clinical/Medical leaders across Canada. Her healthcare and broader public sector network and approach to candidate and client management has been well received. Liz has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and is a Certified Personnel Consultant.

A successful senior HR executive and former VP, Human Resources and Organizational Development with World Vision Canada, Janice provides leadership focused on initiatives that leverage human capital opportunities linked to strategic initiatives. Project experience includes policy and legislative compliance, talent acquisition and retention, performance management, compensation/total rewards, employee engagement and workplace experience.

Janice has successfully worked with CEOs, executive teams, boards, and culturally diverse internal/external stakeholders to deliver outcomes on a local, national and international scale with small and medium-sized clients in the NFP, corporate, higher education and government sectors.
